Recruitment of Lawyers, Paralegals, and Administrative Personnel

Lee and Li recruits through job ads in newspapers or online, or job agencies by considering the applicant’s educational background, experience, and integrity as well as the recruiting department’s demands. After receiving an applicant’s resume and information, we will call the applicant for arranging a written test and an interview. An applicant may be exempt from the written test if he or she has practiced law for at least two years, is licensed to practice in Taiwan or a foreign jurisdiction, has passed the senior technical personnel exam held by the Examination Yuan, or holds a master’s degree in a relevant profession from a local or foreign institute of higher learning. An applicant may be exempt from the foreign language test if he or she is a lawyer or technician licensed to practice in an English-speaking jurisdiction, or has obtained a master’s degree in a relevant profession in an English-speaking country. Each recruit is subject to a five-month probation period, which may be extended for one month.

Sign-up for Lee and Li’s interdepartmental internship qualification test begins the day after the results of part 2 of the bar examination are announced.

Lee and Li is offering 20 law internship spots in 2025. (Final number of spots subject to change.) Those who pass part 2 of the bar examination can sign up for the interdepartmental internship qualification test. They will be hired on a contract basis for five months (excluding the duration of the basic training required by the Taiwan Bar Association).
