Kai Huang provides professional advice regarding intellectual property rights to domestic and overseas clients that focus on research and development. Mr. Huang specializes in multi-national patent portfolio management, patent invalidation and infringement analysis, freedom to operate opinion, and patent disputes in the United States and China.

Before joining Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law, Mr. Huang spent over six years as an R&D engineer at an integrated circuit design house in the Hsinchu Science Park. He developed strong expertise in the areas of communications systems, digital signal processing, and chip design. He also has rich experience in algorithms related to the Internet of Things, big data, blockchain, and artificial intelligence.

Mr. Huang is presently a certified Taiwan/China Patent Attorney assisting leading technology companies in expanding their research efforts into intellectual property rights protection. Notable clients include Alibaba group, BMW group, OPPO group, Lenovo group, and Realtek Semiconductor.
